Benissa's coastline is worth discovering even when you are not planning a long beach day. The section of its ecological promenade towards Les Bassetes offers time to notice the rocks, plants and relationship between small bays and the wider seascape. Add the return if you are going back to the same starting point. The reference is the beach-area tourist office, not the office in Benissa's town centre. Check the precise access and meeting point before arranging transport or parking.
A walk that helps you read the landscape
Interpretation panels add context to the scenery beside the sea. This section includes former stone-quarrying areas and the surroundings of a flora microreserve; Les Bassetes bay marks the promenade's southern entrance. Spend a few minutes noticing those details while staying on the path. The short distance leaves room for a curious, unhurried outing rather than simply reaching the end and turning back. Keep delicate vegetation outside your footsteps and your picnic spot.
A short option with specific access checks
Its length is useful for groups wanting a modest amount of walking, but distance alone does not establish suitability for every pushchair or wheelchair.
