Agost offers an inland break in L’Alacantí where pottery provides a way to understand the town through a craft. The Pottery Museum occupies Severino Torregrosa's former factory and preserves parts of the working process, including kilns and settling basins. Arrive curious about how clay is prepared, shaped and fired; a walk through the town afterwards helps connect the objects with the everyday uses that gave them meaning. If looking for a plant pot, water jug or souvenir, ask who made it, which material was used and what it is designed for.

Distinguish a museum visit from a workshop activity. Programmes are not necessarily offered daily or intended for every audience: confirm booking, language, duration and accessibility before travelling. For bulky purchases, agree packaging and transport directly with the shop, especially if flying home.

The Maigmó Greenway adds a different landscape to the day but needs separate preparation. The official itinerary follows a former railway formation and includes unlit tunnels and sections shared with vehicles. Consult the route and current notices before selecting a section to walk or cycle. The former Agost halt is a route landmark, not a promise of present-day passenger rail service. Choose accommodation and transport around your main interest: craft and town life, or an active day needing water, lighting and time for the return.
